Brendan Sharkey has a long career as a Registered Nurse, training and working in UK Emergency Departments as well as New Zealand, where he worked as a Stroke Nurse Specialist.

‘I most recently managed the rehabilitation centre at the Jersey General Hospital, and throughout my career I have enjoyed being part of people’s journeys and had the opportunity to support clients and relatives through sometimes stressful and difficult times.

‘I also had the opportunity to work with Jersey’s response to the Covid outbreak which was a very challenging time in my career.

‘Since coming to 4Health I have enjoyed the opportunity to help clients remain in their own homes and encourage their independence as much as possible. I joined the 4Health family early this year and am proud to be part of a welcoming, caring and compassionate team.’

Brendan is Irish and has two children, Erin and Cameron, who he loves spending time with particularly rock climbing.
